Knowledge to read contract specification in conjunction with sales proposal and prepare ‘Design Basis Report’ for customer approval.
Base design and detailed design documents preparation
Knowledge of application, design and engineering of control protection relay schemes for HV / EHV systems with application of numerical protection techniques and products
Ability to conduct technical discussions with customers on offered solution and obtain necessary approvals along with ‘Self-certification statements / compliance to specifications’
Sound knowledge of protection philosophies and substation configurations
Familiar with IEC and other International Standards related to power system and protections
Familiar with communication protocols/standards for protective relays and networking and substation automation systems on IEC61850
Ability to manage a small team and handle the project design related activities from start of the project till commissioning.
