Incumbent is expected to handle the below mentioned role
• Providing financial management and oversight of the expenditure to the top management.
• To succeed in this position, the finance manager needs to partner successfully with internal customers, project teams, and members of other finance teams within the organization.
• Lead, manage and own the month end close process, including accruals, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Responsible for consolidating monthly financial results for top management reporting.
• Responsible for consolidating financial data for budgets and forecasts, including development and maintenance of financial models to consolidate data.
• Responsible for review and variance analysis of operating results on a monthly basis and vs. forecasts and budget.
• Proactively supports building and maintaining effective business partnerships with the Operations Finance organization. This role will require significant interface with other finance and planning groups across the organization
• Provides decision support analysis to operational leaders on organization-specific projects and initiatives, including contracts.
• Leverage technical financial knowledge and available data to ensure analyses are well founded and thorough.
• Supports strategic projects as assigned, including supporting ERP projects.
• Demonstrates a solid command of the operational and financial context of the business
• Identifies and articulates improvement initiatives aligned with group and departmental goals and actively participates in process improvement projects.
He is expected to have team management skills and should be a team player .
