You will be part of low voltage motors business unit; ABB has improved energy efficiency and lifecycle value. ABB has long advocated the need for efficiency in motors, and high efficiency products have formed the core of its portfolio for many years.
You as a research and development engineer will be responsible for market and technology leader in the IEC market and on special LV motors, secure excellent product maintenance, product and technology development, engineering tools development and project based. PG IEC LV Motors are in the process to build up a strong global R&D team in order to secure technical and market leading position on LV motors and special motors, good knowledge of electro-physics or mechanics combined. If large customer requirements need heavily adaption of the standards design, a customer based R&D project is initiated. Here it is of uttermost importance to secure good control of the project and create clear interfaces towards sales or customer in order to secure that the result meets the customer expectations. In this position it is required by the engineers to have good communication skills, good project leading skills and quality control of the project as well as the resulting product
Requirements: Your Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical with 1-2 years of experience in technical support will be an ideal fit.
