Due to our continuing expansion we currently have oppurtunties for Rail - (E&M) Design Engineers on multi-disciplinary offshore executed projects from Bangalore, India.
Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world renowned consultant.
Responsibilities
Undertake electrical design to client and Atkins Rail standards
Provide input and support to the E& M Team Leader for the preparation of bids
Undertake site work as required either as part of the design activities or as part of support to installation or audit
Maintaining highest quality standards in the production of design deliverables and striving towards technical excellence in design

Education:
(UG - Any Graduate) AND (PG - Any PG Course)
Experience working as an electrical designer preferably within a railway environment, but as a minimum within building services or infrastructure
Experience of railway signalling power supply design, station lighting and LV distribution systems desirable
Competent user of IT tools in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience of computer based design tools such as AMTECH, AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Ability to express clearly ideas and concepts in documents, letters and orally
Ability to work constructively in teams and identify and resolve issues in a constructive manner
Familiar with plant and services activities and products
Desirable Competencies
An understanding of Network Rail Standards.
Producing concept and detailed designs for UK railway projects
The Individual
Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment
The position is to be based in Bangalore
