JOB DESCRIPTION: PROJECT ENGINEER Electrical
Overall Position Purpose
Plan for monitoring of Project Procurement, timeframe bound programme, to assist Project Manager in implementation of task with quality, cost and within schedule.
Qualification
B.E Electrical from a leading institute as full time course.
Experience
Min 3 years of working experience in Electrical section of sugar industry or other leading industries connected to power generation and distribution.
Age
25 to 35 yrs.
Position Objective
1. Follow up with supplier or sub-contractor to implement the assignment given. Eg: purchasing, expediting, inspection and transit.
2. To assess manufacturing progress as per schedule given.
3. Monitoring of Quality assurance & Inspection schedule as per shipping schedule.

1 Basic technical knowledge
2 Quality norms, knowledge of safety norms, Electrical equipment and systems, documentation.
3 Ability to read drawings and conduct inspection of equipments.
4 Deep understanding of the Electrical standards.

Ensure delivery of equipments as per agreed time lines by continuous and timely follow-up.
3 Ensure that equipment is being manufactured as per exact specifications.
4 Prepare master project schedule with the project manager and monitor all schedule and bring trouble spots to the attention of project manager.

1 Threat to life when on outdoor duty.
2 Problem solving with Suppliers & Subcontractors.
3 Technical issues arising at the time of erection & commissioning.

1 Safety norms and precautions to be taken while working on project / visiting project site like man made and natural disasters.
2 Ensuring that the vendors supply equipments as per plan.
3 Resolving any challenges faced in the transportation of the equipments.
4 Adherence to Safety Protocols at Site during the erection & commissioning of equipments.
